Historically Pitman Training has always had very strong ties with the English speaking parts of Africa, where our unbeatable heritage as an educational powerhouse is held in high esteem.

The Pitman name continues to be respected as a badge of quality and it is therefore a key focus for Pitman Training to seek to reintroduce the brand back into the continent, by working alongside outstanding partners in each of a number of key countries. More than half of the countries in Africa are now classed as middle income, with one of the fastest growing middle classes in the world and so the desire for quality brands such as Pitman Training is at an all-time high.

The African region as an economy is growing faster than any other part of the world, with a third of all countries experiencing growth rates of more than 6%. Combine that with the fact that the costs of starting a business have fallen by more than two-thirds over the past seven years, while delays for starting a business have been halved and it's clear that the potential to open up a Pitman Training franchise Africa could not be better.

Our franchise model gives the most up to date business and office skills for those students who are keen to work and perform in a professional and English speaking environment. We are actively seeking partners whether they are existing educational establishments, companies or individuals with the skills and ambitions to grow the brand as a franchise in Africa.

As part of our partnership, Pitman Training will give you or your organisation all of the support, training and guidance required to tailor our model to fit your unique opportunity to the market in Africa.

Pitman Training already has excellent partners in Nigeria and Zimbabwe and we have plans to open up new centres this year within Ghana. Starting this year and with a long term growth plan we are committed to making Pitman Training the training provider of choice across Africa.

There are opportunities in countries throughout Africa, whether that is as a single franchise unit in a key city such as Johannesburg, Accra or Mombasa or for development of key countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Botswana or Tunisia to name just a few.

We are keen to develop Pitman Training centres in the following African countries over the coming year, and so if you are the right partner for us... please get in touch.
