Earlier this year we celebrated being named one of the UK's top franchise opportunities. In March, franchisors from across the nation attended a lavish ceremony at the Hilton London Kensington, to celebrate being named one of the UK's top 100 franchise brands. From hundreds of entries across every sector, we ranked 40 overall in the prestigious Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) - rising seven places from last year to reach the top 40.
The EF100, established in 2017 in association with HSBC, is the franchising list to watch. It recognises the sector's brightest businesses and ranks them according to a broad range of criteria; from their financial performance and heritage, to their contribution to the community and the way they embrace innovation.
The franchise industry contributes over £17billion to the UK economy and more than 700,000 people are employed in franchising across the country. Despite a difficult economic climate, the last 18 months has seen franchise brands like Pitman Training survive and thrive thanks to their robust infrastructures and proven business models.

This year, brands were also judged on any measures they initiated to survive the challenges of the pandemic, along with long-term planning they employed to experience prosperity and growth post-pandemic. Achieving this position is a testament to all that Pitman Training has achieved - they have consistently demonstrated a gold-standard level of franchising."
A hit with the NHS as well as top 40 in franchising
Paul Lewis is the Managing Director at Pitman Training who attended the EF100 ceremony earlier this year with some of the UK support team, "We are so proud to have ranked 40th in the EF100 2022.
