Coventry has been a historically large settlement for centuries. It is located on the River Sherbourne and part of Warwickshire. It is the 9th largest city in England and the 2nd largest city in the West Midlands. It is also the most central city in England. In its history, Coventry was a major center for bicycle manufacture. This industry later evolved into motor manufacture. This later developed into the plant that produced the Jaguar Cars. Today, the city's major industry is found less in manufacturing industries and more in modern business services, finance services, research, design and development, creative industries and logistics and leisure.
