SADC OVERVIEW

The SADC region is a grouping of 15 Southern African countries, and represents a key part of the African continent in which Pitman Training are keen to develop new training centres. Within the region there is a strong overall level of economic growth and it is an area that is welcoming to international business keen to expand their operations.

Across the region a large number of the nations within the area are members of the Commonwealth and many strong links remain in terms of language, education and business between the SADC region and the UK. Many countries have historical ties directly with Pitman Training itself and it is an area in which the brand is held in very high regard as a sign of quality and tradition.

AREA OPPORTUNITIES

There is a unique opportunity in the region to take a British educational institution that is well known and respected and reintroduce it to the local market in it's modern incarnation. A perfect example of the past and present coming together!

Pitman Training is well known as the world's leading provider of shorthand and typing skills, something we are rightly proud of as part of our history. The modern Pitman Training provides worldclass office skills that are in demand by employers, and we are actively looking for local partners in each of the SADC countries to work with us to grow the brand in what will be the next stage in our proud history.
